GSTEP Ambassador Programme

We are seeking ambitious, talented future leaders who have a keen interest in science, technology, engineering and maths to join our GSTEP Ambassador Programme.


  • Are you between the ages of 14-18?

  • Do you live in the Ashanti Region or Greater Accra Region?

  • Do you love science, technology, engineering and maths education?

We are offering 20 young people a chance to become a GSTEP Ambassador.

What is the GSTEP Ambassador Programme?

Foundervine are pleased to announce a partnership with DreamOval, Nesta Challenges, DEXT and MEST to launch the GSTEP Ambassador Programme.

This programme offers GSTEP Ambassadors an exciting opportunity to participate in fun training, focused on building leadership, career and entrepreneurship skills to enable them to connect, inspire and promote the benefits of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to fellow Ghanaians.

We are looking for Junior and Senior High School students and Teachers in Ghana to develop practical STEM skills and products that benefit their local communities. This is a three year programme to promote STEM and Entrepreneurship among students at the basic level with challenges and competition in varied format and complexity.

Ambassador responsibilities run from July 2021 to March 2022

Who can join the GSTEP Ambassador Programme?


GSTEP Ambassador Programme is delivered in partnership with Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service and is FREE for eligible Ghanaian youth.

Who should apply?

  • Youth with a strong interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)

  • Youth aged between 14-18

  • Youth from the Ashanti Region and Greater Accra Region

  • Forward thinker and eager to change the narrative

  • Able to commit to a year of activities and representation from July 2021 to March 2022


Q: Who is eligible for the Ambassador Programme?

  • Both girls and boys.

  • Youth aged between 14-18.

  • Youth from the Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions.

  • Able to commit to a year of activities and representation from July 2021 until March 2022.

Q: Are there any costs involved if I become an Ambassador?

  • The GSTEP Ambassador Programme is free.  ​


Q: How do I apply to the Ambassador Programme?


  • Sorry, but applications are now closed.

  • Once you have submitted your application, this will go through a secondary screening process. After which, we will notify you of the decision and next steps.

  • Students can apply for the Ambassador Programme. Just click the Apply Now button below and complete the form.​

Q: Do I have to commit to the full year?

  •  Yes, as an Ambassador you will be involved in a series of events and masterclasses sessions for a year. The first cohort of ambassadors will be active from July 2021 until March 2022.  We are looking for participants who can commit to attending all the activities across the year.
