GSTEP Youth Ambassador Programme

We are seeking ambitious, talented future leaders who have a keen interest in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) to join the Ghana Science and Technology Prize (GSTEP) Ambassador Programme. Twenty Ghanaian youth will be offered a chance to become a GSTEP Ambassador for a year.

The GSTEP Ambassador Programme

Foundervine are pleased to announce year three of the GSTEP Ambassador Programme!

This programme offers GSTEP Ambassadors an exciting opportunity to participate in fun training, focused on building leadership, career and entrepreneurship skills to enable them to connect, inspire and promote the benefits of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to fellow Ghanaian youth.

We are looking for Junior High School students and Teachers in Ghana to develop practical STEM skills and products that benefit their local communities. This three-year programme promotes STEM and Entrepreneurship among students using challenges and competitions in various formats and complexity.

Who can join the GSTEP Ambassador Programme?

GSTEP Ambassador Programme is delivered in partnership with Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service and is FREE for eligible Ghanaian youth.

Who should apply?

 

  • Youth with a strong interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)

  • Youth aged between 14-18

  • Youth from the Ashanti Region, Eastern Region and Greater Accra Region

  • Forward-thinker and eager to change the STEM narrative

  • Can commit to a year of activities and representation

When does it start?
 

  • The programme begins on January 25, 2023
