Today we have over 1.5 billion websites (source: Internet Live Stats) on the world wide web. From these around 200 million are active. With more consumers moving online for their shopping it is important to have a website that serves your business needs in the most optimum way possible. 

A website can often be the first thing your potential customer see’s about your business. It can be that all-important love at first sight. It’s your footprint on the internet and it’s important for the world (and algorithms) to know that your business is here. Building a website from scratch will open you up to new skills and employment options. And no, you don’t need to know how to code — at all!

In this 5 week's course we will go through the key fundamentals you need to keep in mind to build a well-performing website. The sessions include masterclasses on defining your value proposition, introduction to UX design, Website Analytics & SEO and pitching your website prototype for expert feedback and prizes.

Session 1 - 30 June

Learn how to focus on the value you provide to your customers rather than solely on the products or services you provide.

What Makes a Good Website

Session 2 - 07 July

Learn the basic components of a good website followed a live demo on how to create a landing page.

Introduction to UX Design

Session 3 - 14 July

Understand what is UX design and how it impacts your customer's journey on your website and can led to better sales. 

SEO Optimisation & Google Analytics

Session 1 - 24 July

In this session understand how your website can be found online and optimising it for your target audience.

Pitching and
Prizes

Session 5 - 28 July

Showcase the prototype of the website you have developed to get feedback from experts and you will also win some prizes.
